Arthur, my blue blood grandfather!

Today I will tell you the story about Arthur, my grandfather with a royal name. Arthur aka Prince is my grandfather on my mother’s side. He is a breed of Belgian shepard dog (Malinois) which stands out with he’s imposing stature. When Ioana saw him she said to Laur that she wants a dog just like Arthur. And since when you really wish something so badly that the stars align in such a way to make it happen, here I am, looking exactly like my grandfather.

My grandfather when he was a puppy!

My grandfather was a Romanian Beauty Champion in 2010. And also in 2010, in Rotterdam he received the 8^th place and was the youngest dog in attend at the Mondioring World Championship held by the FCI (the World Canine Organisation). And he did such a great job, even at such a young age and being the first dog to open the competition. Even if today he is a bit old, Arthur is in a great condition. And his offsprings and grandchildren are remarkable dogs, with exceptional results in several competitions.

On the left is Laur with grandfather and on the right he is next to me. We look alike and he looks fondly at us both!

I think that I resemble very well my grandfather. And since Ioana wanted a big dog and one that looks like Arthur….now she’s got it

Sometimes I am cranky! (video)

Sometimes I have cranky fits…Even if I am full, even if I have just eaten and I am not even sleepy. But I am as a Malinois as you can get and I cannot stand still.

Do you like the racket I can make? I am teaching my brothers a lesson! This time I only gave them a fright. Good thing my mommy didn’t grab my neck

My friends, Alexandra and As

Let me tell you about my other two friends, Alexandra and As (Ace). As is a husky, beautiful and sweet, but also stubborn and unsociable with strangers, be they animals or humans.

As and Alexandra are inseparable since he was a small puppy, even smaller than me. (I am now 7 weeks old, but when Alexandra adopted As, he was only six).

Recently, Alexandra wanted a kitten. And her ferocious wolfie that couldn’t stand other animals fell in love with a newborn kitten saved by Alexandra’s parents. In fact, their tomcat and because they have so many rescued cats brought them the kitten that was on the brink of death. So, As and Silky each day are becoming more and more buddies to Alexandra’s delight who never thought that her wolf will accept another animal.

Robi and his beautiful malinois

Who do you think Ioana asked for his advice when she chose House of Fire Malinois? Robert Kulcsar! Robi is a animal lover, dog trainer who has had pretty good results with his dogs. Several years ago he tried training a Malinois. And since then…. he came back to us because we are the smartest.

Robi says I’m beautiful in this picture!

And as I was saying, Robi was pestered to death by Ioana with her questions about the large breed Malinois. Robi showed her some kennels with large Malinois. She loved the kennel. I wonder why? :))

And in this one I am gorgeous!

Well, his dogs are also great. At the moment, Robi has 2 beautiful Belgian Sheperd dogs that learn every day new things: As (Pearls of Grant Asterix) și ChenChen (Cybele Gods of Hermannstadt) that you can see below.

Even ChenChen is no slacker A noble breed, both of them give their best in training.

Acura+Aramis= … Red

I was born as the son of Acurei Alpha Legion and Aramis. My mother is the daughter of Arthur, aka Prinț (Prince), the life companion dog friend of Mr Laur Bratu. I will tell you all about my grandfather Arthur on another posting.

And my father, Aramis had the required qualities so Laur agreed to “give” him my mother, I mean the mount. And so I was born, myself Red and my brothers and sisters.

Acura – my mother

My mother is called Acura (Acura Alpha Legion) and is part of the kennel House of Fire Malinois of Mr George Laurențiu Bratu.

We were her first puppies and she was very protective of us, even when we were getting older.

Loving, obedient, vigilant, firm but lenient with me, my brothers and sisters. As soon as we were born she never left our side. Laur barely got her to eat because she was always watching over us.

Below you can see some pictures with me and my mother, Acura. I am beautiful as her, I still have yet to become as good and obedient.

Like mother, like son!

Aram – the legendary Malinois

Today, let me tell you a little bit about Aram. Aram of Atomic Dogs is a Belgian Sheperd dog who stole Ioana’s heart about 3 years ago. It was the first Malinois that Ioana noticed. And from that moment on she told Mr Sandu Petrescu, Aram’s “daddy” that when Aram will be old enough to have puppies she wants one.

And so the Ioana’s first contact with the Malinois bread was Aram, who she watched closely and lovingly through the posting of Mr Sandu Petrescu. Besides he also told me how special and intelligent are we, Belgian Sheperds. And so, at the right moment I appeared, Red, although I am not descendent of Aram. You can see the beautiful Aram in the pictures below, in all his Malinois glory. I am decided to become as terrible and slick. I don’t know yet if I like cherries, but if I will then Ioana will have to share them with me

What I have not told you yet about Aram is the fact that Ioana has always wondered where his name comes from. Well, only when I appeared, I found out that Mr Sandu also got his inspiration from the the TV series Blacklist. More exactly from the FBI agent Aram Mojtabai. There is a coincidence! Anyway, we are both wonderful Malinois!

Why RED? Why Mars?

No, not because I have red fur. But because Ioana loved a character from a TV series: Raymond “Red” Reddington. Yes, the famous character from Blacklist, ruthless to even cruelty sometimes, yet sensible, devoted, loving to those closer to him and extraordinarily intelligent and intuitive. As a Malinois

Why Mars? Because Laur insisted that I should have a beautiful name, elegant and resounding on paper and so Ioana had to come up with a name that he will like. And so I ended up being called “on paper” Mars House of Fire Malinois. Mars in ancient Roman religion and myth, Mars was the god of war. And Mars is also the fourth planet from the Sun, the Red Planet .

RED – Mars House of Fire Malinois

Hello! I am RED, for my friends, although I am officially called Mars House of Fire Malinois! I was born in Bucharest, on 2020, May, the 24^th. It was a quiet Sunday for most people, but for us, me and my brothers and sisters it was a blessed time to come into the world. The first to greet us was Laur (George Laurențiu Bratu), the owner of the kennel of my mother, Acura: House of Fire Malinois.

Laur, being proud and happy, filmed us and posted the video on Facebook, where it was seen by Ioana. And … so I ended up from the Capital to have a family on the other side of the country. But more on the subject on another posting.

Do I have to mention that I am a Belgian shepherd, or you can tell from my size, color and attitude? Malinois from father to daughter, I invite you to join me in this blog that is nothing but the story of my life.
